In my work as an architect, both in and out of school, I have had a great focus on how the body and mind relates to and interacts within a space, both when it comes to materiality and architectural design.
A masters in Spatial Design and a minor in Design and Business Strategy has further developed and refined my natural understanding of empathic spatial design in combination with branding. From the beginning, it has also been of great importance to me to know the client’s and users’ principles and needs, both spoken and unspoken, to have the best possible foundation for creating a result, a space, which all involved parties are fully satisfied with.

Whiskey bar / Showroom, West Jutland: Thesis project in collaboration with Stauning Whisky. Transformation of old farm buildings turned distillery into a combination of whisky bar, showroom, and dining. Great focus on capturing the spirit of the distillery and preserving the interesting characteristics of the existing building.
From kindergarten to Neighbourhood Centre, Nørrebro (realised): Transformation of old kindergarten on Stengade into a neighbourhood house used by many different groups and communities. User involvement was a big part of the process of transforming the room from institutional to embracing.
